Zeta er is a small tool that enables you to send one or multiple files or folders to one or multiple e-mail receivers over the internet.

This is done by selecting the files and folders your local computer and then automatically them to the internet. The receiver
gets notified by e-mail when a file was ed for him. Clicking the link in the e-mail s the file.

Features include:

  • Up to 500 MB per

  • Configure maximum availability of file (days)

It needs to be in Portable

It needs to be in Portable Apps Format

.Net

I don't think PortableApps currently lists .Net applications. I think that might change in the future, but they don't consider them portable because many PCs in public locations don't have the .Net libraries installed. Just a heads up.

Portable Apps Format done

Now I've built a setup in the Portable Apps Format. I adjusted my initial posting above to point to the new URL www.zeta-er.com/zul.paf.exe.

This URL always s the latest PAF setup with the real file name, e.g. "ZetaerPortable_2.1.0.23.paf.exe".

I carefully examined other PAF setups that I've ed from this website to have valid examples. I do hope I did everything correctly to have a full compatible PAF setup for Zeta er now.

It was real fun to work with the Portable Apps Format, completely new to me Smile

Should I re-submit it?

Best regards
Uwe

PAL/NSIS

At present you've got a bit of confusion between using the portableapps.download4free.org Launcher and straight NSIS code. Stick to one or the other - PAL is the one you should choose. (Then you should also use the app template from the PAL page as the base.)

I'd recommend that you look at a list of our apps using PAL and see how they do what they do.

(Do you seriously use HKLM, not HKCU? If so, that'll mean it requires as well as .NET which is undesirable.)

Yes, now I am confused. I

Yes, now I am confused.

I ed e.g. TeamViewer portable, ran the installer and compared the directory structure with mine. I did the same with Filezilla and Kee.

So I think I may have missed something here, including the registry keys you are referring to.

Now I will examine your links, thanks again!

Newer

Avoid TeamViewer, FileZilla and Kee; they're all old-style apps from before PAL was released. Look at the newer releases which use PAL which is what we prefer now.
